Join us for a gentle cycle ride along the Prom.

We shall be starting about 11.00am at Splash Point, where we have a new leisure feature, and cycle leisurely along the promenade, taking care to give consideration to the pedestrians. We can take in the sights of Worthing Seafront and enjoy the safety of being away from the traffic!

When we arrive at George V Avenue, we shall dismount to push our bikes along the footpath to Goring Greensward where there will be Dr Bike with Quest Adventure and Nigel of Cycle Matters, a FREE Worthing Revolutions bell and SUSTRANS stall with cycle maps and guides.

There will be a raffle with lots of prizes for the lucky winners! Please bring your own picnic.

This ride is suitable for adults and children of all ages and abilities, and should you need any help with your bicycle, the experts are there to help.

Experience the joys of cycling, safely commuting to work by bicycle and to promote cycling as a safe and healthy alternative to automobile travel.

Cycling makes sense for so many reasons.

  • It is good for your purse. Bicycles require no road tax, no MOT, no insurance, no licensing, no breakdown recovery services and above all, no fuel bills.
  • It’s good for you physically – in fact, cyclists enjoy a fitness level equal to that of a person ten years younger. And it’s good for your world, because making a bicycle requires only a fraction of the materials and energy needed to make a car and once they’re up and running they produce absolutely no pollution at all.

Please do join us for what should be a fun and enjoyable ride. Let’s hope the weather will be kind to us!
