We have an opportunity for you to join our well motivated, forward-thinking Transport Planning Team as the Cycling Officer. You will be responsible for providing a specialist transport planning service dealing with the co-ordination, implementation and promotion of cycling in the County.
Our Local Transport Plan has been designated ‘Excellent’ and we have a ‘Very Good’ delivery record. You will be working with the people and businesses of West Sussex on a range of exciting and innovative cycling projects, helping to ensure that the County remains an attractive place to live.
You should be educated to degree level (or have equivalent comparable experience) and be able to demonstrate experience and enthusiasm in the planning of cycling projects and initiatives. In addition, if you have an analytical mind and can offer effective communication and project management skills in the cycling environment, then we want to hear from you.
