What we stand for
Worthing Revolutions has been set-up to:
- Make the Worthing area a safer place for cycling
- Encourage cycling for transport and recreation
Where we are
Worthing is a town of around 100,000 people situated on the south coast of England, in the county of West Sussex.
How we came into being
When Jim Davis moved to Worthing, he was disappointed and surprised by the lack of cycling provision in the town. His response was to set-up Worthing Revolution, a monthly meeting at the back of a pub for locals to discuss cycling matters. The first meeting was held on the 29th May 2008 at the Beechwood Hall Hotel, Worthing.
